Passive and functional materials and devices fabricated in part or whole using printing techniques, including screen printing, gravure printing, transfer printing, and inkjet printing (IJP), have been the subjects of increasing attention among research and industrial avenues.
Note: easiest way to explain this is just like an epoxy has an A and a B part that must be mixed, in Reactive Inkjet Printing an A part is inkjeted on a surface and then a B part is inkjet precisely on top of the A part causing a chemical reaction which joins the two parts and creates a nanomaterial. There are many applications, starting with functional inks that could use this process.
