Yes, that is the best way to combat them. Do not reply, do not reference them.
On another company board there, I did exactly that after every time their lead basher made a post.
I never replied to them, mentioned them, or anything they could get paid by their boss IHUB for my response. I just posted the facts and I did it consistently every time they posted, I posted something positive about the company without referencing the basher.
Arguing with them gives them fuel and accomplishes their goal of polluting the board and creating doubt in shareholders.
They do NOT care about facts, so they will lie all day long. You prove them wrong, they shift to a different lie. It never works to engage them.
Never reply directly to them. That's how they get paid by IHUB.
