I owned a stock that went through some similar swings in SP and I remember after a somewhat negative response by a few in the FDA, the shorts came out in droves blaming the CEO, the former CEO, the way the company communicated, poor finances, etc. and the share price dropped significantly. My colleague (who also owned some shares) and I were talking about whether we should sell and he said..."do you believe in the science still?" and at the time, the question kind of cut through all of the BS and I came to the conclusion that I did and would hold my shares to see if the company was ultimately successful. Well, it took a while, but they eventually got approval and the science was the ultimate reason. That company had one indication that everything depended upon. So now, I am asking myself the same question with all the naysayers showing up recently....do I believe in the science? The answer is yes....so again, I will hold until the company realizes some success....the one difference is that there are many indications this time. All of this is IMHO.
