smason386 - Fact is most of the longs are holding their shares, not selling. This was just posted on the "other" board and it is pertinent to your concerns.
So I have an observation based on some trading data using level 2 and programs on my computer at work. (anonymous investment firm - sorry, cant say which one). I'm curious what the community thinks about this:
Over approximately the last 90 days, 1/3rd of the total daily shares traded are being sold short. Meaning, that actually only 50% of the remaining shares (33% total) are being bought long.
Is this normal for this stock to be so heavily shorted?
