Naked shorts and the like to try to drive the price of an OTC stock down after significant news to try to shake shares by trying to cause a psychological panic and shorting it all the way down.
That, in tandem with the "basher ballet" on both this and the other site this morning probably convinced some folks to sell, lowering the share price.
Now the shorts they can buy cheap shares walk the price back up again.
Wash, rinse, repeat. That will probably be the cycle until significant events change the price range....
