Read the 2015 10k, and probably the 2016, which will both say the same thing. OWC has stated that they were formed to only do R&D for partner companies, not doing it on their own. Their business model is to profit off their inventions and to sell the IP to others. No manufacturing or distribution was planned, so no sales or marketing functions exist. The Emilia deal is a perfect example of that- Emilia makes, markets and ships the product, OWC created the product and gets a license fee. Very clean and very profitable. OWC doesnt then need a big employee structure, just a few smart people working on patents and testing. Over the head of people like Maalox and Mario, who cant see the forest for the trees.
