Some speculation on my part but it would not surprise me if were we to close at a buck or over for 3 days in a row those short would get margin calls. They are in the hole deep here and their situation grows worse daily as longs are not selling but do continue to accumulate. When Leo drops the bomb on the criminals some may take flying leaps.
