I saw one interview where he said they are going to build out a few company owned stores before they franchise, which is the best way to go. They have to solidify their business model before they franchise.
They already have the LOI for the NorCal location. I think that will be the next announcement regarding locations. It doesn't require any fundraising or if it does, not much. They got the $1.4 million in building costs fronted to them as well as lease concessions.
I think announcing a start up date for construction on this location should be soon.
