UbiQd specs supplied is using CuInSeS composition which can cover the NIR range.
It is purely designed for Solar applications and not for displays.Their process is still batch and therefore the ability to mass produce at a cost where the material is applicable is still the issue to commercializing.I still see the day some of these companies coming to QMC to see if they can license the flow process to mass produce their materials.I would only think QMC would do it if its something they can't produce already under their current or future patents.
Looking forward to QMC releasing data on their products someday.Perhaps its best to keep their info for their materials under wraps until supply contracts are announced.That info is more relevant to a potential customer than the public at the moment.
