I've often thought that our FDA makes it far too hard to do research and development, and far too expensive. I believe things in Israel proceed far faster and cheaper, but they still develop first class products. I suspect a big part of the reason is far less bureaucracy. Just the fact that Israel is open minded enough to consider cannabis like other drugs rather than preventing research with it demonstrates their willingness to put science over politics.
