Being the key words in that statement. Anyone scared off needs to stick to fake money investing or board games; things that won't loosen the bowels at the slightest hiccup.
That, probably more then anything, is what tears these small companies up. Zero loyalty, no ability to trust your own research, limited to no patience, gullibility in listening to boiler room lies and half truths, and a myriad of other things that should keep the casual investor on the sideline.
Lottery tickets offer the same for those guys.
