Yep. A R/S timed around ticket sales or certification will probably boost the stock far more than just keeping the current share structure. Expedia did a reverse split in December 2011...go take a look at their stock chart from then until now.
Priceline (PCLN) did a 1/6 reverse split in 2003 and went up 9.7% over the following 12 months.
Titanium Metals (TIE) did a 1/10 reverse split in 2003 and went up 350% over the next year.
