Bruce,
I'll certainly agree with you on that. A question I have, if you know is, do they typically do a webcast with the release of the Annual Report, as so many others due. If they do, I would hope that they put out a PR a couple days prior and announce both that the 10-K will be out at a specified time, and perhaps one hour later they'll host a webcast to discuss it.
In that I'm on the West Coast, I much prefer these things happening during or just after the market day, but more and more companies are doing these things before the open. I rarely set an alarm and get up at 5 a.m. or so to see what's in the release, or hear the webcast live. Frankly I enjoy seeing what's happening, but know that nothing I do will change what's to happen, so I review it after the fact when it's comfortable to do so.
Barring some other news release, I doubt if their will be much movement between now and when the Annual Report is issued. This morning the gap almost filled, but technician I know would say even a penny difference isn't filled. While I don't concur with all that technicians say, I will say that they are often correct, but occasionally miss tremendous moves which occur due to news which doesn't fit into their models.
