Grupo Mexico enhanced its railway subsidiary, which had been discussed a couple years ago as a possible $8 billion IPO. It now has (1) a Jacksonville to south of Miami 351 mile Florida system, (2) a Texas system from Presidio on the border to Fort Worth and (3) a 6,000 mile Mexican system that carries 40% of the nation’s cargo and ¾ of auto output. To us this is almost as exciting as the January 31st expansion program to 1.5 from 1.0 mmt copper output for $8 billion outlays to mid-2023.
