Yes indeed. I have been remiss in failing to mention that the Lady Gamecocks are a Final 4 team as well. They play Stanford on Friday with the winner to play the winner of UConn vs Miss St. Our coach, Dawn Staley is every bit as intense as her male counterpart at South Carolina.
Here's an abstract thought that may prove to be a reality soon. If the men's basketball team wins the tournament, the NCAA Division Champions in all 3 major sports, football, basketball and baseball will be from the state of South Carolina at the same time. Coastal Carolina in baseball, Clemson in football and USC in basketball.
Gotta win a couple more games and it ain't gonna be easy either.
