Excellent news today on B-OM, especially for patients who deal with this terrible affliction. Based upon the lack of any current effective treatments, B-OM probably only needed to show slight improvement to be considered a potential SOC. The interim results show that there is real potential for this to become a widely used therapy for perhaps the majority of cancer patients undergoing chemo/radiation, regardless of whether it is head and neck. I suspect a large pharma with an oncology focused pipeline could be very interested in using B-OM to extend the use of their drugs in patient treatment....this has potential to be huge!
