That's the problem john. They don't give a shit about you and I, they care about how many votes they can garner, how much power they can consume, and how many people they can politically influence for personal gain. The Dems are far from innocent and the Repubs are no better. Infighting is all that goes on.

As for Trump, he was dealt a shitty hand from the start. He stoked fear and rebellion in his campaign, and with the help of the Russians (I think), he won. He never had leadership abilities, he had TV personality. Big difference in the two. He never had experience running a city or state so had nothing to draw from.

The policy changes aren't a bad thing. I've always leaned conservative in policy, but the guy doing it is a horses ass and unfortunately that cripples him with the Democrats and a portion of his own party, as we saw with the health care bill.
