Fortunately I haven't run into any 100 footers yet.
I think it was back in 2012 when I managed to get caught in something that was really nasty. It was three days before St. Patrick's Day and I had taken out a couple of friends to the Gulf Stream and things got a bit rough. Well, both of those guys managed to get sick, one especially so. That poor guy was blowing hash and drooling like I had never seen before. In fact, although I have never been sick on the water I almost got sick watching him suffer. As sick as he was though he never lost his sense of humor and he even smiled weakly when I told him, "Dave, if you can figure out how to stay green after we get back to shore you'll be ready for St, Patrick's Day."
Nope, he hasn't gone back out and I'm sure he never will again.
