The second part about the holding company. Technically your statement is incorrect. See the quote below. There was GNH Inc and Giggles N Hugs Sub co. The two companies merged into the GIGL ticker. Basically Mr. Parsi had Giggles N Hugs set up as a subsidiary of GNH and when he took them public, he ended that setup to create just one entity. Nothing was spun off.
