In this day and age is should be T-0 period. This is the computer age we live in and I would bet IBM would be happy to design a program for the SEC that would bring us to T-0 and eliminate naked shorting at the same time. Can you hear the squeals as the criminals would scream loudly about having the frosting removed from their cake.
