I still like Sear's menswear, got a pair of their sneakers on right now. I have a Kenmore cook top now I bought 3 years ago. Yes, I too will miss Sears. What the article does not say is that they own a lot of valuable real estate that will provide a bottom for the stock, and the sale of the company. Knowing that, I don't see a reason to buy the stock. Hey, I was sort of heart broken when my local K-Mart closed, lol.
In my area is the Mall of America has a three level Sears. It had 4 anchors, but Bloomingdales closed it was three, then 2 if Sears closes, a big blow to the Mall of America. Also, there is also one in an uppity Mall near me, they just opened a new Nordstrom's and other expansion. The third in my area had a Wal-Mart and TJMaxx build and blocked the view of it, lol.
