News was really good. If you read the short article I linked to maybe a week ago, ulcerative proctitis really is an awful, life-wrecking disease. To have results like this for almost everyone, after only 6 weeks of treatment, is amazing.
Hopefully the foam formulation will make the regimen less difficult for the patients. That will be very interesting to see results when they have that developed. I could see a situation where, if the foam is not quite as effective, someone with severe disease might start with those unpleasant retention enemas, then switch to the foam when the disease has improved.
