The board can both (1) increase the size of the board (up to 13 members) and (2) fill the resulting vacancies under the company's bylaws.
They should also call a special meeting and have the shareholders vote on the election of the new directors.
But we are due for an annual meeting anyway, so they will probably just do it then.
But, for now, they are full-fledged directors.
(It would be fraud to file a Form 3 as a director of a company if you were not one.)
