The eczema I agree with and many other surface skin disorders. Shingles is a bit different since it's caused by a virus.
Never know though, could work. With testing the worst that would happen is that it doesn't work. Shingles is nasty. Had it when I was a kid and it hurt and then itched beyond belief.
