There isn't much competition because nobody has yet been able to make a profit in the space. Not many companies delve into a unprofitable venture. And as I stated before the current political environment, coupled with oil prices which are low and will stay low for many yrs to come, make PTO an extremely risky business at best, and most likely a failure at worse.
I've never believed it was a scam. But I no longer believe it can be viable. The current environment. In the previous administration, there was at least hope of possible government green subsidies to help a company "go green". Not going to happen now.
They are accruing debt in the form of debt service to the tune of over a nearly a million a yr alone.
The primary components for processors 4 and 5 are rotting away in the vendors yard for over 4 years.
Not sure what they will be worth by the time anything transpires with the unknown Southern Company.
