PSA: Beware of the Mayo Clinic. Their CEO gave a speech to the management, telling them that if two patients come to the Clinic at the same time with similar conditions, treat the one with private insurance first, and the Medicare patient should get care second -- because Medicare pays less than private insurance.

In other words, let the older people get crappy care, because the Clinic doesn't make enough money to give them the best care.

There are Mayo locations in Florida and Phoenix, in addition to the original one in Minnesota. So if you have Medicare, better think twice.
