The Florida Department of Health announced it has begun to develop a rule on the use of pesticides when growing medical marijuana in Florida. According to the proposed rules, pesticides used in the production of cannabis must be classified as “minimum risk” and exempted from Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) registration.
