I'm lucky I made it home. Fortunately my extended cab Silverado holds it's own well in 4WD cause there was well over a foot of snow on New York Interstate 87 in the Adirondacks, and that was where it HADN'T drifted!
Only good part was barely any traffic. I was one of the few crazy bastards on the highway. Another good thing was only saw on big rig. He wasn't supposed to be on the highway, but.... The governor declared a blizzard emergency and banned big rig traffic on the highways North of Albany. Guess he hadn't gotten the message.
Man, it felt more like driving a boat in pea soup fog. Unpredictable blasts of zero visibility and freezing up on the windshield and wiper blades. Yee-frickin-haw!! Averaged 30 mph.
Anyhow, on a good note, a little birdie told me something was brewing at HQ in Texas. Ahhh, Texas. A much nicer place to be right about now! lol Hopefully we'll be hearing something good soon.
