IRB approval is a very big deal.
it is nearly impossible to get IRB approvals unless you really have something quite significant and you are using a true clinical and scientific approach. you also have to have a top flight research and development team.
these guys don't have anything like that. they can claim anything.
we will just have to wait and see how this works out for them.
