Update on GTC's @ Etrade: I tried to renew two GTC's that expired while I was on vacation when I got home and they would not accept them. One of them was some CTIX shares and my purpose in doing this is to put pressure on the shorts in order to increase their carrying costs on the CTIX short. At any rate what was denied on a Sunday proved to be ok today and I placed those shares on a 60 day GTC @ $200.00 per share. The bulk of my shares are with Fidelity and they will only accept a GTC @ $7.50 which in my opinion is way too risky so those shares are not taken out of circulation as the Etrade shares are. If you have an account that will allow you to lock up your shares at a high price as Etrade does please consider doing it with a portion of your shares as this is one of the few things we can do to make things costlier to the shorts.
