I don't know how many remember what big oil did back in the 70's and 80's. There were automotive breakthroughs that would have changed the world as we know it. There was the 100MPG carb and a heating AC unit that used no freon just air as a couple examples. The patents were bought and the technology buried. Now for the self driving car, that's hot and Intel made a smart move. When it comes to pharma, I see this war on MMJ only starting. Hopefully the court of public opinion will rule in MMJs favor, but big pharma will fight with everything to block its use.
