Yes, the folks at the gov, agencies are very helpful.
Haven't done it yet, but with a few calls, you CAN find the status of OWCP clinical trial.
Each division of drug treatment had a board from what I have found in the past. The key is to drill to that board or group of "advisors" and then they can give answers to the product and what the company has provided.
That's the most important part.
As long as OWCP provides info to the FDA with their ongoing trials, the FDA will take it into consideration with their approval or denial.
