Went to another local liquor store in MA and inquired. They wrote down the request. It seems the best way to get the word out to small stores is just ask them if they sell it and give them some basic background. Apparently liquor stores listen to their customers because both places had a notebook for requested alcohol.
Every little way to advertise helps....
