I think there is a small chance that GC received the deposit already, However I wouldn't bet the house on it.
If GC received 1 mm-which basically would be the companies highest payment to date in 25 years, my guess is that he would make an announcement about it.
I could be wrong and I want this to happen but the realist side of me says that based on the facts and past history:
SS is a startup in a fairly unproven hydrogen industry.
GC wants some confirmation of his life's work and the $1mm deposit would be a good start. With his personality trait that would translate into a large PR to announce such a fact . I would PR it if it were me-especially with all the recent shareholder questions...
But maybe he will surprise us.
We need a surprise.
