Read through the examples and this is heavy duty stuff.
Example 3 is the kicker. Mitochondrial transmembrane potential allows the drugs action to not only attack the cancer cell from the outside, but infiltrate the Mitochondria which can have one of 2 effects.
1. It disrupts the dna during mitosis(cell division) causing the cell to die
2. Effect the Mitochondria to revert back to a normal cell(yes it is possible to normalize a cancer cell)
#1 is what toxic chemo does and chemo reeeeeeeally sucks, I know.
