Remember put your SELL orders in, 51.53 or higher, so that your shares cannot be borrowed to be shorted. (Not legally, anyway, although we all know that all kinds of illegal shorting happens.)

Put in the Good Till Canceled orders at a very high price.

You do NOT have to do this if you have a CASH account. This only applies to people with MARGIN accounts.

If you have a cash account, they will have to call you and ask you for permission to lend out your shares. We know of at least 2 people that Fidelity called, asking to borrow their shares.

Needless to say, if they ask to borrow your shares, say NO.
