Chess, most of those QD Reports are not worth a fraction of the money they charge. There were research reports that never interviewed QMC, but had us in their report. Also, some are years old and recycled. Many of the companies have numerous names and sell the reports under different company titles. You can see that any that include QDVision or Nexxus have not been updated, and others think niche players like Evident are big cheese.
The few I trust are BCC, IHS, Idtechex, Smithers Apex and Yole who attend and organize conferences, and any that have their own associations or journals and specialists like Touch Display's Dr Colegrove.
