The shares on a certificate can be converted into "street name" (aka "electronic form" ) and deposited with a broker once the company becomes current with their financial filings.
Baltia is working with new accountants (and new attorneys) and anticipates having all of its filings up to date by the end of March.
If you haven't converted the certificates as of yet, you are probably better off waiting until after the name change and reverse split. There are VERY few brokers who will actually go through the effort to convert those certificates for a stock whose pps is valued so low, and the process for a stock whose pps is below a penny could be expensive (figure $1,000 per certificate?).
If you wait a few more months......till late May/ early June, my guess......it is going to be a hell of a lot easier to turn those certificates into electronic shares.
