I agree! There was lots of excitement from Toshi, Steve and all the people in the lab on that Friday I visited. I got to see the newest reactor producing high volume quantum dots. Then on Monday after my visit I found out why the excitement because they announced the China deal for two high volume reactors. I talked specifically with Toshi about solar and I'll only say they are quite on top of it and I felt as if we will hear more about that this year (unless it is just the new hire, but I didn't get the impression that was it).
I guiess all I'm saying is they are not acting like a company that is ready to fold up and go home. Instead, they are on the verge of capitializing on all the work they have done in the past years. Toshi even pointed out the land where they can expand their facility in San Marcos someday. Doesn't sound like they expect to close shop.
Will it happen? Who really knows. But as the Nanaco piece points out, everyone doing Qdots is waiting for the surge in demand. Given the many practical uses, it is just a matter of time for these uses to move from the lab to everyday production. I'm in it for the long run, not for the ups and down of daily trading. I wish it was higher sooner, but it is what it is.
GLTA!
