Beware: when people post "knowledgeably" about why Kevetrin won't work, making all kinds of claims about what the dosage **must** be, meaning claiming that there it can't work if there is not a constant level, that stomach acid will degrade it in unpredictable ways, blah blah blah....
remember that they're making up these claims out of whole cloth.
We do not KNOW what kind of dosing is needed for Kevetrin. We do not KNOW if a constant blood level is necessary. Remember, they were getting IV Kevetrin doses days apart in the Phase 1 -- and yet there were anecdotal stories of patients improving, with small doses spaced widely apart. What if a dose causes an effect that lasts for days because it activates a mechanism, and it takes a while for the effect to wear off? WE don't know, the COMPANY doesn't know -- or if they do, they're not talking yet -- that's what the studies are for.
So how does some anonymous basher, excuse me "poster," know information that the rest of us don't know?
Answer: they don't. They're just trying to find plausible-sounding reasons to bash.
