I freely chose to make an investment in Coates. I take full responsibility for that decision. Then I saw the potential upside of the SP. I invest a little more. I wait. George puts out three more forward looking PR's. I now have $ signs in my eyes. Greed tells me to invest a little more. More PR's. More waiting. More investing. This now becomes my "prayer stock" praying it goes up. Nothing. Next I attack everyone who attacks George. I even form my own blog and kick out the naysayers. More waiting. SP drops even more due to toxic loans. I make excuses for George seeing conspiracies forming behind every tree. I refuse to believe I could have been so gullible (again). George keeps tinkering away with new gensets and searching for "new money". The beat goes on.
Eventually, I begin to have doubts about George. What promises/predictions has he made? Have any of them panned out? Has he ever told the complete truth in any of his PR's? Has he ever said anything that could be verified? Does he have a single repeat customer? It's hard to believe someone as intelligent and good looking as I am could be scammed twice. Believe it. I do.
The above is a description of myself. Any similarity between my actions and yours are purely accidental. Remember - No statement uttered since the beginning of time is 100% true (including this one). I now look on my investment in Coates as entertainment expense. George told me in no uncertain terms in every PR that he could not be trusted. (disclosure statements five times longer than the PR) What? You dismissed them too? Buy more shares . . . I don't think so.
