Having worked as an MM, I have a different theory but I don't really want to get into it publically.
Let's just say if a bunch of investors called their brokers, and those brokers called the MMs, it would be in the BEST interest of those MMs to go Long and have cheap shares available tomorrow and Friday.
I could be totally wrong. But in the next few days if there are sizeable blocks or unusual buy volume generally it would validate my suspicions.
Very sorry guys, but I saw it at least monthly. IF G$ calls you, you sure the f* better do what they want otherwise they might not call you again for weeks on ANY of the equities you make a market in.
The flip side for the investor of $OWCP is that these well connected and very wealthy investors wouldn't be buying the stock if they didn't think it had legs. They just aren't going to pay the same price for the stock that you and I have to pay.
