I was out in the
World for a long time. I had a family reunion with my sister in a very slow town south of Garry on the Illinois side of the border. Had reservation at a hotel. Pulled in and the room wasn't ready. I unloaded. Then I had to go back in and apologize for the small town values and manor I had forgotten.
It is dog eat dog in cities and people adjust to that atmophere.
It is why most American cities are hopeless.
