Agreed. Institutional investors will undoubtedly drive share demand and thus PPS.
That said its a double edged sword. Institutional investors in most markets are not afraid to be very vocal about expecations on financials etc., and will upend management structure in a heartbeat if they don't like the results.
So even though I think it would be a net positive in the long run, it could introduce some chaos if the company's strategic plan and results arent on par with expecations or the communicated explanations.
