It's not entirely coincidence. I've noticed for over 20 years that often when the blue chips were smellin more like buffalo chips, swing and day traders would work the small stuff harder than when the big boards were lit up green. They're moving their boats to better fishing if their not short selling. Looking for gainers, and most of them already have lists of the pennies they're working on those days. As long as there is still a lot of interest in the stocks on those lists, they move easily with the slightest upward nudge. Just wait til people see the nudges coming up!!
