Just had the pleasure of meeting Ron White down at my bar/restaurant. We are about a block away fro the venue he is playing at tonight in Moline, Il. I wanted to do a shot of Jameson with him and get a picture of him with a Larry the cable guy energy shot. I gave him the energy shot at the bar while he was eating and when he saw it, in joking fashion, he said that our food is good but that picture on the energy shot was going to make him sick.
Very friendly and laid back but you could tell he just wanted to enjoy his beer and food and his privacy which I respect. I did ask him if I could buy him a shot of booze before he left and he thanked me and said he was just going back to his hotel room before the show because he rather sleep his way through Moline, Il. and laughed.
I can't blame him at all but would of loved to have gotten that picture and sent it to Shawn.
