Because it's probably not worth the time and effort when they're focusing on the bigger picture.
Would you rather devote 4 hours of your day to make an extra $20,000 in sales or 4 hours a day to generate millions in sales?
I never believed in the brownies from the get-go, it was a bad idea, so they're just cutting their loses and moving on. No worries.
