Of mine posted a Millage increase vote for school in my area....
3,000 students. They get $13,000 per student which is $39 million per year. Class size 21 students So that is 145 teachers at on average of $61,500 per year. So I doubled that and got 18 million. 39 million - 18 million = 21 million left for maintenance, repairs, upgrades and busing.
I told him it looked more like they needed a new board and superintendent than a Millage increase
He hasn't responded back yet ...
