There are a number of other factors that influence the number of QD's per sq meter required , as mentioned in the last paragraph on pg.7 in this RoHS exemption request: http://rohs.exemptions.oeko.info/fileadmin/us...ossier.pdf
And as far as costs are concerned, the green QD's typically command a higher price that the reds, from what I've seen.
With that being said; I-too recall reading the same numbers as Jamis mentioned somewhere along the line....1/2 to 1gr per sq meter.
