Midas mechanics get a commission on how much they sell you. Was once told by a Midas mechanic with straight face that I needed to replace my engine. Engine was fine and I told him to replace the wire running to one of the plugs....which entirely fixed the problem. Told him he was full of shit and he smiled a broad grin.
